Appointments

All appointments are provided virtually, via the HIIPA compliant platform Simple Practice. Each client has their own client portal, where they can fill in demographic, payment and insurance information, complete paperwork, download handouts and worksheets that I share, request appointments and access their virtual appointment.

All appointments (both initial and follow up) are 60 minutes long.

Cancellation Policy:
There will be a $50 fee for appointment no-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. Note that a credit card on file is required to hold all appointments.

Insurance

Insurance accepted: Aetna and Cigna

Nutrition counseling is considered a specialty service, and coverage will depend on each individual’s contracted plan. Co-payments, deductibles and/or visit maximums per calendar year may apply.

If you are not covered under Aetna or Cigna, I can provide invoices for insurance reimbursement that you can submit to your insurance company. To understand your out-of-network coverage, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking if they cover the CPT codes 97802 and 97803 for out-of-network nutrition services.
